MangoBoost, based in Seoul, Korea, provides Data Processing Unit (DPU) chip solutions for datacenters, allowing them to optimize and scale with the help of a team of the world’s most experienced software engineers, scientists and academics. MangoBoost contacted Purple Bunny with the goal of reimagining their brand and website as part of their effort to become the best-known DPU chip company in the world.

Before jumping into the visual elements, we wanted to nail down MangoBoost’s mission and vision. This work served as the foundation for an entirely new messaging strategy, which sought a balance between accurately describing the technical features of their products while maintaining marketing-appropriate language that would attract engineers and leaders alike.

There were many elements of MangoBoost’s brand that the team wished to preserve–the colors, logo, and dark theme–as they were part of a tried and true identity that helped them achieve all they have so far. Keeping this in mind, our brand refresh included modernized typographies, gradients of the existing color palette, and 3D renders that take users inside MangoBoost’s hardware.

The crowning achievement of our work with MangoBoost was the new website, which incorporated the new branding, messaging, improved website structure, and new icons and graphics. Possibly the most high-impact element was a set of informational graphics that demonstrate the difference between traditional solutions and MangoBoost chip solutions, helping users to see a visual representation of their true value.
