MerQube offers high-tech design and calculation services for a wide range of financial indices. Their clients, banks, asset managers, and insurance companies, rely on them to create, verify, and manage custom investment benchmarks. At its core, MerQube sells precision: cutting-edge index creation with robust performance tracking.

The design challenge was to turn MerQube’s highly technical and complex index creation process into a platform that was intuitive and easy to use. Financial professionals needed to create and manage custom indices quickly, without getting overwhelmed by technical details. We needed to offer a lean interface that prioritized clarity and decision-making, while also supporting the depth and flexibility their users demanded.
The design challenge was to turn MerQube’s highly technical and complex index creation process into a platform that was intuitive and easy to use. Our senior UX team embedded themselves with the MerQube stakeholders to map the full lifecycle of index creation. We uncovered key pain points and identified where users needed the most guidance. Based on that, we designed a modular workflow that distilled complex decision trees into simple, guided steps.
Each flow was tested and iterated in close collaboration with the MerQube team to ensure it matched real-world usage. Once validated, we layered on a clean, professional visual design system aligned with MerQube’s existing brand, reinforcing trust and usability.
